Tea Sales - Sale Advice Comparison with last Year
A comparison report has been added to view sale averages vis a vis last year. Filters have been added to view on packing date or Gatepass date. Teas during the sale period can belong to current season or any season. This can happen if you take the period as March when teas despatched in December end might get sold.

Monthly Paybook

I am posting some changes today after nearly a year. The monthly employee master has fields like Basic Salary, DA as %,VDA as % etc. Now employees get allowances like HRA, Cycle,Charge,Other (Computer) etc. Now some gardens are including these allowances for PF calculation & some are not. So as of now the main allowances HRA, Cycle, Charge & Other will be included in PF and if you are in the other category then I have added three allowance fields which will not be included in PF calculation. I have not added any fixed name to these fields. You can name the fields in Parameters as per your requirement. These allowances will be proportionate to the no. of working days. Previously only those workers who had an entry for sick, earned leave, casual leave or absent were shown marked but now these values will be shown for the month and todate for the calendar.

Wage Entry Grid - Loopholes Corrected
I have noticed a way by which an error in wage entry can occur. Say we have entered a plucking record and after completing the entry we go to the next record. Then maybe we realize the previous kamjari code was wrong so we use the UP Arrow key and change the code and use the DOWN Arrow key to come down to our current record. We have acheived our correction but this method can lead to errors in wage calculation and reporting. You will notice that since the edit record was a plucking entry there was leaf entred also and after we changed the code the leaf entry remained and maybe even the wage code is wrong. I have added some validation code to prevent this. The green leaf entry which should not have remained will increase out total leaf in wage entry and will not match with the sectional calculation.

Worker Perks

Tea Analyst 'Daily Rate Employee' (DRE) has options to check perks offered to an employee. These perks can be given or stopped by checking check boxes or by selecting option buttons. Now the main perks offered to a DRE are viz. PF, ration, annual leave (LWW) and bonus. I have made a report in Reports/Other Reports/Report # 30 to list you the perks currntly availed. PF, annual leave and bonus has yes/no options but ration has four options viz. full ration, customized ration (where the ration for the worker may not be same as for all workers),cash (where cash is given inlieu of ration) and no ration. The snapshot will give you the basic idea. This report is available with versions carrying date from 1st Nov. 2010. Absent Register

Most of you all must be using this form to check absentism one day or the other. I have made some changes in the way data is queried.First of all let me explain the form controls. On the top left hand side there are two date pickers. Set the date range for the query here.
Option1: This allows us to filter paybooks we want to see in the results. We can query a particular paybook or all Permanent or Temporary paybooks or all paybooks.
Option 2: There are five reports here.
Report 1 and 2 gives us monthwise absentism figures for each worker. We can query from a minimum period of one month upto 12 months. In report 1 the query checks for the presence of absent kamjari code in wage entry against each worker. In report 2 this condition is checked plus it marks a person as absent if no kamjaricode is found for a person in wage entry after leaving out sundays.

Report 3 gives us a daywise absentism report. Here if a worker is found to be absent by Kamjari Code or No Kamjari Code a '-' mark is displayed. The other markings displayed are 'S' for Paid Sick or Unpaid Sick, 'H'for paid holiday and 'P' for rest.
Report 4 lists out absent days using logic of report no. 2. To find a worker we can get the 'FND' form by pressing key F12.
Report 5 lists out workers absent during a particular day using logic of report no. 2.
Option 3: Use these options to sort your results. The first option is by Emp. No. whereas option no. 2 will show the persons with more absentism on top and option no. 3 is by House No.
