Absent Register

Most of you all must be using this form to check absentism one day or the other. I have made some changes in the way data is queried.First of all let me explain the form controls. On the top left hand side there are two date pickers. Set the date range for the query here.
Option1: This allows us to filter paybooks we want to see in the results. We can query a particular paybook or all Permanent or Temporary paybooks or all paybooks.

Option 2: There are five reports here.
Report 1 and 2 gives us monthwise absentism figures for each worker. We can query from a minimum period of one month upto 12 months. In report 1 the query checks for the presence of absent kamjari code in wage entry against each worker. In report 2 this condition is checked plus it marks a person as absent if no kamjaricode is found for a person in wage entry after leaving out sundays.
Report 3 gives us a daywise absentism report. Here if a worker is found to be absent by Kamjari Code or No Kamjari Code a '-' mark is displayed. The other markings displayed are 'S' for Paid Sick or Unpaid Sick, 'H'for paid holiday and 'P' for rest.
Report 4 lists out absent days using logic of report no. 2. To find a worker we can get the 'FND' form by pressing key F12.

Report 5 lists out workers absent during a particular day using logic of report no. 2.

Option 3: Use these options to sort your results. The first option is by Emp. No. whereas option no. 2 will show the persons with more absentism on top and option no. 3 is by House No.

The latest update is covered in Version 7th September and the file can be downloaded from

This update is for Premium Version. I will update the Basic Version also soon.
I would request users to use this report and give me their feedback.

Coverage Update Rectifier Tool

The sectional analysis of 'Tea Analyst' has come a long way to improve the sectional analysis. Last week Raj (Aideobari T.E.) showed me some reports from his garden database which were not tallying as the total of the same head in the mandays report was different from the sectional report. So I got down to it and realized that first of all the coverage update was not mandatory as a result the user could skip the step and lo we have a wrong sectional report. Moreover it could be that the coverage was updated and later changes were made to the wage entry and the coverage was not updated again so the wages in the coverage table did not get updated. Plus not the least, as this is not what many of you are doing, importing data. If we import data then also we must immediately update the coverage. Now first I want to rectify the current data if it needs correction and then will look into a permanent solution to this problem shortly.
I have added a 'Coverage Update Check' form in the Help memu. Enter the date and the no. of days from that date for which you want to check if the coverage entry is correct. Click on the 'Check' button. The tool will correct totals on its own and will show you a list of date's for whcih you have to update the coverage. This can be done from here only by clicking on the 'Coverage' button.

First day morning

I am really excited to start posting my developments on 'Tea Analyst'. As I keep getting feed back I improve the software and I hope this medium helps in reaching out to you all on what I have done. I am new to blogging but it shouldn't be difficult to write about what I enjoy doing the most. 'Tea Analyst' has come a long way since July 2000 when I bought my first Wipro PC and wondered what I could do with it. The app has come a long way and as I look back as to what it was when I started it sure has changed and become a handy tool now.
